Collector of matchstick stickers, writer (author of 34 novels, mostly historical). He created over 200 catalogs, sticker albums and studies about 160 Czech match factories and their stickers for filumenists. He has been collecting since 1955 and his collection has more than 150,000 different stickers from all over the world.
